Volkswagen India Slashes Prices With GST 2.0 Benefits – Savings Up To ₹3.27 Lakh

Volkswagen India has announced big price cuts across its lineup thanks to the government’s GST 2.0 reform, making cars like the Virtus, Taigun, and Tiguan R-Line more affordable than ever before.

Starting September 22, 2025, the German automaker is passing the full benefit of GST 2.0 directly to its customers. This follows the government’s decision to simplify GST on passenger vehicles by removing the earlier cess and introducing a flat 40% tax rate (compared to the earlier 48–50%).

New Price Benefits For Volkswagen Cars

Here’s how much buyers can now save:

Model

GST Benefit (Rs.)

Virtus*

Up to 66,900

Taigun*

Up to 68,400

Tiguan R-Line*

Up to 3,26,900

The Tiguan R-Line sees the highest benefit, with a massive reduction of over ₹3.26 lakh, making the flagship SUV much more attractive.

Extra Festive Discounts

On top of GST savings, Volkswagen is offering festive deals:

  • Virtus: Extra savings up to ₹1.61 lakh
  • Taigun: Extra savings up to ₹2 lakh
  • Tiguan R-Line: Extra savings up to ₹3 lakh

This means customers can enjoy double benefits – GST 2.0 reductions plus festive offers.
