Range Rover SV Black Edition: All You Need to Know

Range Rover SV Black Edition: All You Need to Know

Full Black Look, More Style

The Range Rover SV now comes in a new Black Edition, which gives it a cool and stylish all-black design inside and out. This version looks darker and more exclusive than the regular model.

What’s New on the Outside?

  • It wears Narvik Gloss Black paint – the darkest shade Range Rover has ever used.
  • The logos, grille, and big 23-inch alloy wheels are all black.
  • Even the brake callipers are painted black for a stealthy look.

What’s New Inside?

  • The interior also follows a full black theme, using ebony leather with diagonal stitching.
  • The gear lever and wood trim are also black – giving a rich and modern feel.
  • There are very few parts that have a different color, making it look clean and classy.

Cool Tech Features

  • Comes with BASS (Body and Soul Seat) and Sensory Floor, which vibrate with the music so you can "feel" the sound as well as hear it.
  • These features are standard on all SV versions.

Seating Options

You can choose between:

  • A 5-seat standard wheelbase, or
  • A 4- or 5-seat long-wheelbase model (for more space).

Powerful Engine

  • The Black Edition uses the same 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 engine from BMW.
  • It makes 615 horsepower and 750Nm of torque.
  • Goes from 0 to 100 km/h in just 4.5 seconds.
  • Comes with an 8-speed automatic gearbox and all-wheel drive.

This special version was shown globally just days after similar Black Editions were launched for the Defender Octa and Range Rover Sport SV.
