Nissan India has started Phase 2 of offering a CNG kit for its Magnite SUV. Now, people in six more states — Rajasthan, Bihar, Jharkhand, Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, and Tamil Nadu — can get the CNG kit. Earlier, it was available in seven states, so now it covers 13 states in total.
This CNG kit works only with the 1.0-litre petrol engine version of the Magnite that has a manual gear system. The kit is made by Motozen, a company approved by the government. It costs ₹74,999 and includes installation at official service centres. The kit also comes with a 3-year or 1,00,000 km warranty.

Nissan said more people are asking for cheaper and greener fuel options, so they are expanding. Customers who already got the kit in Phase 1 said they are getting better mileage than with the petrol-only version.
The kit is safe and follows all government rules. The warranty from Motozen gives customers peace of mind for the long term.
