Volvo Cars India is getting ready to launch its new all-electric compact SUV, the EX30. This will be the company’s entry-level electric car in India.
- Bookings will open on 20 August 2025.
- The launch is planned for late September.
- Deliveries will begin in October.
The EX30 will sold in one fully-loaded variant with a few colour options. The expected price is between Rs. 40 lakh and Rs. 45 lakh (ex-showroom).
The SUV uses a 69kWh battery with a rear-wheel drive motor that makes 268bhp and 343Nm. It can go from 0–100kmph in just 5.3 seconds and offers a range of up to 480km per charge.
Once launched, it will compete with the BYD Sealion 7, Hyundai Ioniq 5, BMW iX1, and Mini Cooper SE.
