Vietnamese electric car company Vinfast has opened its first dealership in India, located in Piplod, Surat (Gujarat). The new showroom is 3,000 square feet in size. Two upcoming electric SUVs – VF 6 and VF 7 – will be displayed here.
This showroom is named VinFast Surat and is run by Chandan Car, a well-known name in India’s car sales business. Vinfast plans to open 35 dealerships in over 27 cities across India by the end of this year.
The company started taking bookings for the VF 6 and VF 7 on 15 July 2025. Anyone can pre-book either car by paying Rs. 21,000, which is fully refundable. These cars will be assembled in Vinfast’s factory in Thoothukudi, Tamil Nadu.
Vinfast has also partnered with companies like RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure for charging stations and after-sales service. They have also joined hands with BatX Energies to work on battery recycling and support eco-friendly mobility in India.
