Mahindra to Launch 2 New Compact SUVs – Mini Scorpio-N & Next XUV 3XO

Mahindra has shown 4 new SUV concepts – Vision S, Vision X, Vision SXT and Vision T. Out of these, the Vision S and Vision X will turn into new compact SUVs for India. These new SUVs will be built on Mahindra’s NU.IQ platform, which will support petrol, diesel, hybrid and even electric power. The first models are expected to come by 2026–2027.

Mahindra Vision X → Next-gen XUV 3XO

  • The Vision X will become the new XUV 3XO.
  • It will use Mahindra’s new front-wheel-drive modular platform, which supports petrol, diesel and hybrid engines.
  • Size: 3,990mm – 4,320mm length, with a class-leading 2,665mm wheelbase (longest among sub-4m SUVs).
  • Design: Sporty crossover look with coupe-like rear glass, spoiler, sculpted bonnet and high ground clearance.
  • Interior: New cabin with a layered dashboard and two curved screens.
  • Engines: 1.2L turbo-petrol and a new hybrid engine option.

Mahindra Vision S → Mini Scorpio-N

  • The Vision S will become a smaller Scorpio SUV and could launch by late 2026 or early 2027.
  • It will join the Scorpio family as a compact SUV under 4 meters.
  • Design: Rugged SUV look with upright stance, flat roof, squared wheel arches, spare wheel on tailgate.
  • Headlamps: Concept had fancy lights, but production model will get round LED headlamps, LED fog lamps, and Mahindra’s signature grille.
  • Likely engines: 1.2L petrol, 1.5L diesel, and a new hybrid engine.
