- Showcase likely on 15 August
- May get a 2.2-litre diesel motor
Mahindra is expected to showcase the new Scorpio N-based pickup truck on 15 August during its Freedom_NU event. Recently, a test version of the pickup was seen on the roads of Nashik, fully covered to hide the design.
The test model was a single-cab version, and there's no information yet about a double-cab variant. It had a different front grille, but the exact design is still hidden. The headlights looked temporary, likely used to hide the real style. The truck had steel wheels, which may suggest it’s a basic or low-cost model.
Inside, the cabin seems similar to the Thar Roxx, which means it might get features like a 10.25-inch dual screen, wireless Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, and AdrenoX tech.

The pickup is likely to get a 2.2-litre diesel engine producing about 150bhp and 370Nm torque. Mahindra might also offer a petrol version to meet new emission rules. A 4WD (four-wheel drive) option and both manual and automatic gearboxes could be available.
