Maruti Suzuki is all set to launch the Made-in-India e Vitara in Japan on 16 January 2026. The electric SUV will be manufactured at the company’s Hansalpur plant in Gujarat and is based on the advanced HEARTECT-e platform.
The e Vitara was first showcased at the Bharat Mobility Global Expo 2025, where it gained attention for its modern design and strong electric performance.
Key Highlights of Maruti e Vitara
- Battery Options: 48.8kWh and 61.1kWh
- Range: Up to 500 km (claimed) on a single charge
- Features: LED projector headlamps, 3-point LED DRLs and tail lamps, electric sunroof, ventilated front seats, 18-inch alloys, Level 2 ADAS, 360-degree camera, and a dual-cluster display system

The e Vitara will be offered in three variants – Delta, Zeta, and Alpha – with 10 colour choices, including:
- Single-tone: Opulent Red, Bluish Black, Arctic White, Grandeur Grey, Splendid Silver, Nexa Blue
- Dual-tone: Land Breeze Green, Splendid Silver, Opulent Red, Arctic White (all paired with a Bluish Black roof)
