Bajaj Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 launched in India

2025 Bajaj cruiser bikes get updated OBD-2B engine, starting price ₹1.91 lakh

Bajaj Auto has launched its 2025 Dominar 250 and Dominar 400 bikes in India. Both the bikes have been given updated OBD-2B engines as per the new emission norms. Apart from this, it now has a new LCD console inspired by the Pulsar RS200 and Pulsar NS200, which supports smartphone connectivity with turn-by-turn navigation and call/SMS warnings.

The updated Bajaj Dominar 250 with new features has become Rs 5158 more expensive than before. It has been priced at Rs 1,91,654. At the same time, the ex-showroom price of the 2025 Bajaj Dominar 400 is Rs 2,38,682, which is Rs 6,026 more than the current model. Both the cruiser bikes are available at the company's dealerships. The Dominar 250 will compete with the Keeway K-Line 250V in India. At the same time, the Dominar 400 will compete with Royal Enfield's Meteor 350.

What's new in the Dominar 250 and Dominar 400?

Both bikes now come with a color LCD screen and new buttons taken from the Pulsar NS400Z. A small visor is added above the display to reduce sunlight glare. Other changes include a new handlebar for better comfort on long rides and a new carrier with a GPS mount. Bajaj has also improved the buttons, which now feel more high-quality.

The Dominar 400 now gets a ride-by-wire system. This brings 4 riding modes - Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road. These modes control the throttle response and ABS. On the other hand, the Dominar 250 still has a mechanical throttle, but now it gets 4 ABS modes - Road, Rain, Sport and Off-Road.

Bajaj Dominar 250 and Dominar 400: Design and Hardware Bajaj has not changed the design and hardware of the Dominar 250 and Dominar 400.  The Dominar 250 comes in three colours – Canyon Red, Sparkling Black, and Citrus Rush. The Dominar 400 is also available in three colours - Canyon Red, Aurora Green and Charcoal Black. Along with this, both the bikes have an all-LED lighting setup and a USB charging port.

The Dominar 250, like its predecessor, gets 37mm inverted forks with a preload adjustable monoshock at the rear. For braking, it gets a 300mm disc brake setup at the front and a 230mm disc brake setup at the rear. 

The Dominar 400 also has strong 43mm front forks and an adjustable rear shock for a smoother ride. It comes with a bigger 320mm front disc brake and the same 230mm disc brake at the rear.
