2026 Renault Duster India Launch: Engines & Features

• 5 at Renault-Nissan’s factory in Chennai.

Engine Options – Petrol, Hybrid & CNG

1. Petrol Engines:

• 1.3L turbo petrol – 151 bhp, 250 Nm torque
  (6-speed manual or 6-speed automatic gearbox)
• Lower variants may get:
  • 1.5L normal petrol
  • 1.0L turbo petrol (3-cylinder)

2. Hybrid (Expected Late 2026 or 2027):

• Likely to get the same hybrid setup as the international version:
  • 1.6L petrol + 2 electric motors
  • Combined power: 140 bhp
  • Can run on electric power for up to 80% of city driving

3. CNG Version:

• Renault may also launch a CNG-powered Duster.

4. Mild Hybrid (International Version):

• 1.2L turbo petrol with 48V mild hybrid tech
  • 129 bhp, 230 Nm
  • Standard 6-speed manual
  • Available with 4WD (All-Wheel Drive)
  • Ground clearance: 217mm
  • Off-road modes: Auto, Eco, Mud & Sand, Snow, Off-Road
