- Vietnamese electric car company VinFast will begin taking pre-bookings for its first two electric SUVs in India — the VF 6 and VF 7 — from 15 July.
- Both electric SUVs will be officially launched in a few months.
VinFast’s Big Plans for India
- The company is working with 13 dealer groups to build its network in India.
- By the end of 2025, it plans to open 35 showrooms across the country.
- Showrooms will be set up in cities like Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Jaipur, Kolkata, Ahmedabad, Goa and many more.
About VF 6
- Competes with MG Windsor EV Pro and Hyundai Creta Electric.
- Will have 2 variants, with 201 bhp power and 310 Nm torque.
- Runs on a 59.6 kWh battery and gives a range of up to 440 km.
About VF 7
- Bigger and more premium than VF 6.
- Competes with the BYD Atto 3.
- Comes with a 75.3 kWh battery and offers a range of over 450 km.
