Skoda Kushaq Facelift Spied Testing Again in India

Skoda Auto India is getting ready to launch an updated version of its popular SUV, the Kushaq.  The updated model has been seen testing again and is likely to be launched later this year. This new version will get some changes to its front and rear design, along with a few extra features to stay strong in the mid-size SUV competition.

The new Kushaq will get some design updates to make it look fresh and modern. These include a revised front and rear look, new alloy wheels, red brake callipers in the front, black side mirrors, roof rails, and chrome door handles. The test vehicle was seen in a bright Tornado Red colour, which suggests it could be the top-end variant.

At the back, the facelifted Kushaq gets a slightly tweaked bumper and, for the first time, connected tail lamps. These are likely to enhance the overall road presence. Other than these minor changes, the rest of the design is expected to remain similar to the current model.

Inside, Skoda may add new features and update the infotainment system, although these details are yet to be confirmed.

Mechanically, there are no expected changes. The SUV will continue with the current 1.0-litre three-cylinder turbo petrol engine and the 1.5-litre four-cylinder turbo petrol engine. Both engines will offer manual and automatic transmission options.

With these updates, the new Kushaq aims to attract more buyers and compete better with other SUVs like the Hyundai Creta, Kia Seltos, and Maruti Grand Vitara.
