Renault has launched the Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition in India, priced at Rs. 5.14 lakh (manual) and Rs. 5.63 lakh (AMT). The special edition celebrates 10 years of the Kwid in the Indian market and comes with exclusive styling updates. Production is limited to just 500 units.
What’s New in the Kwid 10th Anniversary Edition?
- Exterior: Dual-tone color options – Fiery Red with Black roof and Shadow Grey with Black roof.
- Design Details: Black Flex wheels, yellow grille insert, and special decals.
- Interior: Mustard yellow accents on seats, steering wheel, infotainment system, and door trims.
- Added Features: Illuminated scuff plates and puddle lamps.
This edition is based on the Techno trim and is the most affordable dual-tone car in India.
Updated Kwid Lineup
Renault has also restructured the entire Kwid range with new variant names:
- Evolution (replaces RXL)
- Techno (replaces RXT)
- Climber (top trim)
Safety has been improved as well. Now, all variants get three-point seatbelts for every seat, while the Climber trim comes with six airbags.

Price Range of New Kwid Variants
- Base Authentic MT – Rs. 4.29 lakh
- AMT option – from Rs. 4.99 lakh
- Top Climber AMT Dual Tone – Rs. 5.99 lakh
This makes the Kwid one of the most affordable automatic cars in India.
Engine & Performance
The Kwid continues with its 1.0-litre, 3-cylinder petrol engine producing 67 bhp and 91 Nm of torque. Transmission options include a 5-speed manual and a 5-speed AMT.
