Kia is working on a new electric car called the Syros EV, and it has been seen testing for the first time. The test car was spotted at an EV charging station, fully covered to hide its design.
Even with the cover, the car’s tall and boxy look is clear. It has big wheel arches, short front and back ends, a large glass area, and special aero-style wheels with the Kia logo. The front has vertical headlights on the corners, while the back has vertical tail lights. The roof is flat, and the charging port is on the front left side.
The Syros EV will be smaller than Kia’s upcoming Carens Clavis EV and will aim at people who want a small but roomy electric SUV. Kia might offer it with different battery sizes, and the top model could run about 300–400 km on a single charge.

Its world debut will happen in the next few months, and the India launch will follow soon after. Once launched, it will compete with the Tata Punch EV, MG Windsor EV, and Citroën eC3.
The current petrol Syros is already liked in India for its space and practicality, and the electric version could become a strong choice in the affordable EV market.
