GST 2.0: Tata Motors Offers Benefits of Up to Rs 2 Lakh Till September 30

Tata Motors has announced massive savings on its passenger vehicle (PV) lineup, with benefits of up to Rs 2 lakh available till September 30, 2025. These offers combine the GST 2.0 tax reduction with additional festive discounts, cash benefits, and exchange bonuses.

What Is the GST 2.0 Impact on Tata Cars?

With GST 2.0 reforms, cars under 4 metres in length (with petrol engines up to 1200cc and diesel engines up to 1500cc) now attract a reduced GST of 18%, instead of the earlier 29–31%.

• This change has made Tata cars more affordable by up to Rs 1.55 lakh.
• On top of this, Tata Motors is offering festive discounts of up to Rs 50,000.

• Tata Nexon offers the highest savings of up to Rs 2 lakh. Price now starts at Rs 7.31 lakh.
• Tata Punch, India’s best-selling SUV of 2024, gets benefits of up to Rs 1.58 lakh. Price now starts at Rs 5.49 lakh.
• Tata Altroz hatchback is cheaper by up to Rs 1.76 lakh. Price starts at Rs 6.30 lakh.
• Tata Harrier & Safari SUVs now start at Rs 13.99 lakh and Rs 14.66 lakh, with total benefits of up to Rs 1.94 lakh and Rs 1.98 lakh respectively.
• Tata Tiago & Tigor entry-level cars also see strong price cuts, with benefits crossing Rs 1 lakh.

EVs remain unaffected as GST on electric vehicles continues at 5%.
