How Will This SUV Look?
The Jetour T2-based SUV has a strong, boxy shape that makes it look like a serious off-road vehicle.
At the front, it gets square LED headlamps joined by a black strip with six square elements, and in India this area is expected to wear JSW branding instead of the Jetour name.
There is a honeycomb-style front grille, a thick bumper, one fog lamp on each side, and stylish pixel-like daytime running lights.
The bonnet looks muscular and even has grab handles on both sides, which give it a rough-and-tough adventure feel.
From the side, the SUV has straight, bold lines and door-mounted mirrors in the design images, adding to its solid road presence.
At the back, the international Jetour T2 gets a side-mounted spare wheel and chunky tail-lamps, and the India-spec version is expected to keep most of this rugged look as well.
What Kind of SUV Is the Jetour T2?
The original Jetour T2 sold in other countries is a mid-size SUV with a 5-door body and seating for five people.
It is designed for both families and adventure lovers, with high ground clearance and features made for rough roads.
In markets like Qatar and South Africa, the Jetour T2 is offered with powerful petrol and hybrid engines, four-wheel drive, and multiple drive modes like Sport, Snow, Mud, and Rock.

What About the India-Spec SUV?
For India, JSW Motors is expected to bring the Jetour T2-based SUV as a plug-in hybrid model.
A plug-in hybrid means the car uses both a petrol engine and an electric motor, and it can run on battery power for some distance before using fuel.
Reports say the SUV could use a 1.5-litre turbo-petrol engine paired with a battery pack and electric motors, offering strong performance and good fuel savings.
In overseas plug-in hybrid versions, the Jetour T2 can travel up to around 139 km on electric power alone, with a total driving range of more than 1,000 km when the petrol engine and battery work together.
For India, power output may be adjusted slightly to focus more on fuel efficiency rather than just speed.
The SUV is expected to offer front-wheel-drive and possibly all-wheel-drive versions, but the exact India-specific options are still not fully confirmed.
