Tesla has recently entered the Indian market with its popular electric SUV, the Model Y. Now, a new 6-seater version of this SUV, called Model Y L, has been leaked online before its official launch. This longer version will be launched first in China.
What’s New in the Model Y L?
1. 6 Seats: It will have captain seats in the second row, making it more comfortable.
2. Bigger Size:
- It’s 4976mm long, which is 186mm longer than the normal Model Y.
- 44mm taller for more headroom.
- Wheelbase is 3040mm, 150mm longer, giving more space inside.
3. New Look: It will have new seats, new wheel design, a new spoiler, and possibly a gold color option.
More Power
The Model Y L will have 455hp, which is 12hp more than the regular 5-seater version. A 7-seater version might also come soon.

In India, the Tesla Model Y is available in two versions:
- RWD – ₹59.89 lakh
- Long-range RWD – ₹67.89 lakh
Both versions have:

- 75kWh (range: 622km)
- 295hp rear motor
- 0-100kmph in just 5.6 seconds
Fast charging: Up to 267km range in just 15 minutes with a 250kW DC charger.
