In the next 6–9 months, the Indian midsize SUV market will see a lot of new launches. Big carmakers like Tata, Mahindra, Renault, Kia, and Nissan are ready with their new models. Here’s what to expect:
- Renault Duster (New Gen):
Making a comeback in 2025-26 with a fresh design, new platform, and petrol engines first. A hybrid version may come later.
- Kia Seltos (Next Gen):
Spotted testing in India, this all-new Seltos is expected in 2026. It will get a brand-new design, upgraded interiors, and may include a hybrid option later.

- Nissan Midsize SUV:
Built on the same platform as the new Duster, this SUV will be Nissan’s modern replacement for the old Terrano. Launch expected in 2025.

The iconic Sierra name returns as an electric SUV first, launching by early 2026. Later, petrol/diesel versions are also expected.
- Mahindra XUV700 Facelift:
A refreshed version of the popular SUV is planned for early 2026 with design updates, more features, and a better interior.
